Well, hello!

Chances are, you came to this blog via a link on my Facebook or my Twitter. Which I love! I love that I have ways to stay connected with my pageant community and can create this little network of information, dialogue, and sharing.

And as most of you probably know by now, Miss America has joined in on the fun! You can connect with Miss America on Facebook through their Fan page and follow Miss America on Twitter (@MAOTravels).

It's really exciting to have access to Miss America in this new way and I will anticipate that it makes our community even more full and vibrant.

I am also loving that I can get to know many of the Miss America 2010 contestants through their Twitter and Facebook pages.

The contestants have this amazing journey they go through before they even get to Miss America and for a long time, the wider pageant community didn't really have access to that.

But now, we can see what they to through, what they do, how they grow and change. And I love it! I feel like I know them and Miss America isn't for forty more days!
