MAOTeen Announces New Director of Communication

Miss America's Outstanding Teen announced today that Nicole Melchiorre will be joining the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization. Nicole brings with her more than 10 years of marketing and public relations experience from a variety of different areas.

Nicole will oversee and manage the external communications plan as it relates to publicity, media awareness and event sponsorships of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen, Inc. (MAOT). She will also work with the executive team to assist in the growth of the scholarship program and its fundraising efforts.

Nicole is a graduate of Ohio University with a BA in Communications. She has worked in New York City as an online news and entertainment writer for CBS television stations. Then in Atlanta, she handled the marketing, PR and event planning for Arthur Andersen LLC.

Nicole presently resides in Philadelphia where she is a wife and mother of four ranging in age from 18 to 3. She has served on the boards for the Friends of Rittenhouse Square, Trinity Playgroup and most recently added William Penn Charter Arts Council to her list.
