Caroline Carter - Second Runner-Up

Carter

Dover, New Hampshire

Caroline Carter started competing in the Miss America Organization when she was fourteen years old. Her sister was first runner-up to Miss Vermont, and Caroline loved watching her during her year of service. Caroline "couldn't wait to step onstage myself." Caroline has been Miss Capital Area's Outstanding Teen 2012, Miss Strafford County's Outstanding Teen 2013, and she was the third runner up at Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen 2013. Her talent is singing—for which she received a preliminary talent award at the 2013 Outstanding Teen competition. Caroline's Platform is "Stop Diabetes."

"I am a Type 1 Diabetic working with the JDRF and the American Diabetes Association. I am also an official blogger for Medtronic on theloopblog.com! In July, I will travel to Washington D.C., as a member of the Children's Congress, representing New Hampshire," Caroline said.

Caroline works hard to promote all four points of the Miss America crown. She is service oriented and said the Miss America Organization has helped her to grow and has given her confidence and strength that she puts to use in competitions, at appearances, and in every area of her life.
