MAOTeen Announces Organizational Changes

Already in its tenth year, the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Organization, along with Board Chairmain Donna Bozarth and President Kim Parrish, announces recent organizational changes in the team.

 

Kristin Black was promoted to vice president of operations and brand management. Kristin first joined the MAOTeen family in 2009 and continues to oversee the day-to-day operations to support the growth and add to the bottom line of the organization.

Kristin focuses on strategic planning, goal-setting, and branding initiatives, and directs the operations of the organization. She promotes awareness of organization objectives and programs, revenue, and performance, and also acts as liaison to assist state programs in support of their goals. SteveSteve Frocchi has been named the vice president of marketing and development. Steve is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets. This includes business and market development, market research and planning, strategic direction for promotion, and advertising.

Steve was previously chairman of the Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization and holds a Bachelor of Arts in industrial/organizational psychology and MBA from Canisius College. MicheleMichele Grzegorczyk was named business manager. Michele was most recently the executive director of the Miss Michigan's Outstanding Teen program.

Michele is responsible for seeking, scheduling, and coordinating the appearances of the reigning Miss America's Outstanding Teen. Michele will accompany the titleholder to appearances to ensure she stays organized and on schedule.

TawniTawni Darby acts as the public relations coordinator and as the Teens in Training Camp director. She received her public relations degree from Westminster College, where she graduated magna cum laude.

As PR coordinator, Tawni will provide support for the organization's newsletters, brochures, website, social networks, and press.

Tawni is a former Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen and has worked as choreographer for the Miss Pennsylvania Pageant and co-host of the Miss Pennsylvania's Outstanding Teen Pageant. Tawni can be contacted at Tawni@MAOTeen.org.

DianneWe would also like to acknowledge the service of Dianne Sarchet. After ten years of service, Dianne is leaving the organization as traveling companion. She has been a valuable partner in the development of the program, for which we are very grateful. We wish her all the best in the future.
