Brooke Mills - Grand Prize Winner

Mills

Concord, New Hampshire

Brooke Mills has been competing in the Miss America Organization since she was twelve years old. Since she was a little girl, it was her dream to be crowned Miss America. Brooke has held the titles of Miss Kingston's Pre-Teen, Miss Bedford's Outstanding Teen 2012-2013, and she was second runner up to Miss New Hampshire's Outstanding Teen 2013. Her talent is dance and her platform is Literacy for Life. To Brooke, the Miss America Organization "is so much more than a crown, it is an opportunity for personal growth, scholarships and a chance to change the world."

"I don't let my young age of 13 stop me from making a difference," Brooke said. "I've traveled on a mission trip to Bolivia to visit orphanages, and I lead 'Read to Feed' Programs for Heifer International. No matter what age you are or where you live, you can make a difference in the world when you decide to act."

Brooke’s advice to those who are considering competing in the Miss America Organization is to go for it! “You have nothing to lose and everything to gain … poise, self confidence, new friends, scholarships, and interview skills that will serve you for a lifetime!”
