Miss Omaha Scholarship Pageant Crowns New Titleholders

"Dancing with the Miss Omaha/Miss Douglas County Stars" was the theme for the Miss Omaha/Douglas County and Omaha/Douglas County Outstanding Teen Pageants held on October 22, 2011 in Omaha, NE. Thirteen young ladies competed for the title of Miss Omaha and Miss Douglas County while xix teen contestants competed for the titles of Omaha and Douglas County Outstanding Teen.

Emceeing the event were Miss Nebraska Kayla Batt, Nebraska's Outstanding Teen Brooke Ludemann and local Omaha performer and Miss Omaha Board Member Bob 2011-12WINNERSKropp. Kayla, Brooke, Outgoing Outstanding Teen Titleholders Aleah Peters and Marisa Marsh along with the Miss Omaha Little Sisters provided entertainment during the Pageant.

Judges for the Miss Pageant were Nathan Ritz, Brandi Petersen, Rusty Lord, Dorothy (Dot) Stewart, Gary Umemoto and Karla Boettcher. For the Teens, the judges were Ashley Bauer, Taylor Woods, Darrell Drullinger, Nicole Panneton and Gretchen Bergquist

The Miss and Teen Titleholders will be competing at the Miss Nebraska/Nebraska Outstanding Teen Pageant June 2012 in North Platte, NE.
