Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan will be interviewed by co-host and Miss America 1989 Gretchen Carlson on FOX & Friends tomorrow morning, April 15 at 7:50 a.m.* on FOX News Channel.

Teresa will be promoting her participation with Youth Service America for their Global Youth Service Day in NYC. The group’s youth members will teach Miss America a traditional dance that showcases an effective and fun physical activity. Afterwards they will introduce her to healthy versions of authentic Filipino food. The event is made possible by UnitedHealthcare and its UnitedHealth HEROES grant program, which positions youth as "first responders" in the battle against childhood obesity.

At 8:45 a.m.* Miss America 1999 Nicole Johnson will be interviewed by Gretchen and feature some of her special recipes from her new diabetic cookbook, Nicole Johnson’s Diabetes Recipe Makeovers.

In addition, Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan will begin a new initiative to support agricultural efforts in America by announcing a partnership with the The Hand That Feeds U.S.  Teresa has authored an OP-ED piece that will be posted on the FOX website on Friday.
