Along with Miss America, the parade will feature Grand Marshal Robert Griffin III, Washington Redskin’s quarterback, along with his parents. Joining them in honoring our military will be U.S. Army wounded warrior and winner of Dancing with the Stars J.R. Martinez, honorary marshals actors Gary Siniseand Joe Mantegna, country music superstar Trace Adkins,and platinum recording artist and American Idol winner Taylor Hicks.

The National Memorial Day Parade will be televised live on News Channel 8, on affiliates throughout the country, and around the world on The Pentagon Channel, along with live-streaming on the parade’s website, www.nationalmemorialdayparade.com.

In addition, tens of thousands will “march” online via the Virtual Boots on the Ground at www.virtualbootsontheground.com. The parade is made possible with support from the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, Wells Fargo, and many other generous sponsors.
