Miss America 2011 Teresa Scanlan celebrated her 18th birthday this weekend while participating in media events surrounding Super Bowl XLV for Taste of the NFL, including attending the big game.

Teresa spent her birthday weekend meeting celebrities such as Hugh Jackman and Adam Sandler and sport stars such as New York Jets quarterback, Mark Sanchez and Sugar Ray Leonard.  Teresa participated in interviews with sports and entertainment outlets like Yahoo Sports, CBS Sports and Jamie Foxx's Sirius/XM radio show, the Foxxhole. You can watch the interview with Teresa and CBS Sports here! On Saturday night, she was honored to attend Taste of the NFL's Party with a Purpose, where she was on hand to welcome guests.

Teresa was thrilled to find out she shared a birthday with NFL legend, Roger Staubach, who was turning 69, and also helped present him with a special birthday cake. She was even more surprised when she was presented with a cake of her own, made by Buddy the Cake Boss and his crew!

Teresa had an unforgettable birthday weekend, which ended in watching the big game as the special guest of Ted and Shannon Skokos. She was also happy to help Taste of the NFL raise more than $1 million this weekend to be donated to food banks across America!
