DO AC of Atlantic City, New Jersey, wants people to “Show Us Your Shoes” for the chance to win a luxury trip to Atlantic City and tickets to the 2014 Miss America Competition at Boardwalk Hall on September 15, 2013.
The Miss America Show Us Your Shoes Parade, sponsored by Pink & Pepper, is an opportunity for Miss America contestants to display their creative side to the public by decorating their shoes to match their unique personalities and home states. Have a pair of bedazzled Birkenstocks, festooned flip flops, or embellished espadrilles at home? Contest participants are asked to show their creativity by uploading a picture of their most decked out, fabulous, DIY shoe creations to www.doatlanticcity.com/showusyourshoes, www.instagram.com/DOAC, or Twitter with the hashtag #Showusyourshoes, by September 1.
Two prize winners will be selected. A panel of expert judges will select one grand prize winner. The contest opened August 19 for voters to choose a People’s Choice Winner. Winners will be announced on September 9.
The two prize winners will receive luxury overnight accommodations for two at an Atlantic City casino resort hotel, two VIP tickets to the Miss America Show Us Your Shoes Parade, two tickets to the 2014 Miss America Competition, and a $500 gift certificate for a pair of Gucci shoes at The Pier Shops at Caesars on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.
